Operation Education
Teresaw Care Ministries has been quite clear on its mission in Uganda, educate the children and they will build a community. During its 16-year tenure, Teresaw's founders Randy & Teresa Woodruff have helped shape the futures of nearly 200 kids, to date TCM has seen nearly 50 of those enter into education past regular schooling. Ranging from farming, construction, nursing, pharmacists, and teachers and many more, one has gone on to be a Physician's Assistant, and another is on track to become a doctor. It is our prayer that once they receive their education, they use their resources to enable other vulnerable children to gain an education. Today, 22 students have graduated from the Universities & 22 have passed through trade school with more to follow. Without education, these children are doomed to continue living below poverty levels. The typical peasant in the villages of Uganda earn less than the equivalent of $20 US dollars per month, and have several children to care for.

While our main focus will remain education, we also care about the well fare of the communities where our students live. The picture bottom right is of one of the seven water wells TCM was able to build, with the help of a matching funds campaign.
